Little red riding hood (devised performance)

For the final component of my Drama GCSE, I worked in a pair, to devise a performance from a stimulus. With my partner, we chose a quote by Malala Yousafzai, and created a piece on feminism and the suffragette movement. We chose to do it in a theatre in education style, as this was something neither of us had worked in before, taking a classic fairytale and changing its morals. We performed to a younger audience, involving them in the piece and wrote 3 portfolio essays and an evaluation throughout the process. This was my first experience of creating my own work from scratch and received full marks for both my performance and writing (as well as the award for best performance at our end of year Oscar ceremony).
