ROCK OF AGES 

Every year, Bilborough College produces an entirely student led production. For 2023, the chosen show was 'Rock of Ages'. Being new to the school, I decided I wanted to be part of the production team, as this was also something I'd had very little experience in. Throughout rehearsals, I created posters (pictured right) and programmes, took thousands (no exaggeration) of photos, marketed the show through social media and raised funds to increase the shows budget. By December, the cast were performing to three sold out crowds, proving all our hard work had paid off. I made loads of new friends through the production, learnt many new skills, including digital ones such as Canva and photoshop. This show also presented a new set of challenges, as this was the first time I had to work with a list of stipulations and legalities, which I eventually navigated my way through.
