After beginning my studies at the Guildford School of Acting, this was my first 'Professional' role. My duties included being present in the rehersal room, ensuring it was set up and packed down with everything needed for the day. I also spent a large amount of time creating and/or sourcing props used for the show. All this was done in line with the practices detailed in the 'Theatre Green Book' acheiving 'Advanced' for the production overall. This also allowed me to demonstrate my organisation and communication skills, being responsible for completing prop trackers, risk assessments, schedules and contributing in weekly production meetings.
During the shows run, I assisted with set changes, prop management, and following health and safety practices, as well as assisting with the 'get in' and 'get out'.
I learnt a lot from my time on this show, and am grateful to all my fellow students who helped make this such a fun and hard working experience.
